Native American Program
About
The Native American Program champions Indigenous students through holistic support, cultural programming, values-centered leadership development, and dedicated living-learning spaces. The program partners with faculty, staff, and student organizations across the institution to uphold Dartmouth's founding charter through collaboration, training, and educational opportunities.
Dartmouth Tribal Sovereignty Institute Launches
President Sian Leah Beilock announced the formal launch of the Dartmouth Tribal Sovereignty Institute on July 27, which will build on Dartmouth’s founding charter commitment and its ongoing partnership with Native American and Indigenous communities to support tribal nations in advancing their own economic, cultural, and environmental priorities; foster collaborative knowledge creation; and host convenings that lead to actionable outcomes.
Your support of the Native American Program sustains Indigenous student services for years to come.
Supporting the Next Generation
Last month, the Undergraduate Office of Admissions hosted a weeklong program offered by College Horizons, a New Mexico-based nonprofit, that tackles such questions and prepares Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian students for the college application process. As the host institution, Dartmouth was able to highlight the Indigenous Fly-In Program, Native American Program, and Department of Native American and Indigenous Studies.
